Internship Opportunity: Sports and Entertainment Assistant

Position: Sports and Entertainment Assistant (Internship)
Type: Part-Time, Paid
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour (based on prior experience and academic standing)
Duration: End of Spring through December (flexibility for extension available)

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Sports and Entertainment Management or Human Resources to join our team as Sports and Entertainment Assistants. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event operations and hospitality at Soldier Field.

Responsibilities:

• Event Day Operations: Assist with the check-in and check-out process for employees, nonprofit organizations, subcontractors, and temporary staff during events.
• Departmental Support: Provide support and gain exposure to various departments, including Suites, Concessions, Catering, Purchasing/Warehouse, and Finance.
• Operational Assistance: Help ensure smooth event operations by supporting various operational needs as required.
• Learning and Development: Build a comprehensive understanding of event management and hospitality through practical experience and observation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Sports and Entertainment Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
• Passion: Genuine interest in sports and entertainment with a proactive approach to learning and contributing.
