The ideal candidate will have expertise in Data Architecture Cloud Build and Cloud Provider Services. Exposure in Gen AI is essential. A background in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. A GCP Cloud Data Architect designs, implements, and manages data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They work with various GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub to build scalable, efficient, and cost-effective data pipelines. They collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into data solutions, and provide architectural leadership. **Responsibilities** + Design and implement robust data architecture solutions that align with business goals and objectives. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services and data architecture. + Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions using Cloud Build and Cloud Provider Services to enhance operational efficiency. + Utilize Commercial Gen AI to drive data-driven decision-making and improve business outcomes. + Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations. + Provide technical guidance and support to team members to foster a collaborative work environment. + Analyze and optimize existing data systems to improve performance and scalability. + Lead the development of innovative solutions that leverage cloud technologies to meet business needs. + Conduct regular assessments of data architecture to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. + Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and data architecture. + Develop comprehensive documentation for data architecture and cloud solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. + Contribute to the companys purpose by delivering high-quality solutions that have a positive impact on society. **Qualifications** + Possess strong expertise in Data Architecture and GCP Cloud Build. + Demonstrate proficiency in GCP Cloud and GCP Cloud Provider Services. + Have experience with Commercial Gen AI to enhance data-driven strategies. + Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a valuable asset. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. + Display strong communication and collaboration skills. Application Expire : 5/31/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $[140,000 - 165,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
