Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management. This role requires collaboration with development teams to ensure optimal database performance and availability.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage advanced network infrastructure solutions with a focus on F5 technologies, including Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM).
• Utilize Command Line Interface (CLI) for efficient configuration, troubleshooting, and automation of network devices.
• Oversee and manage DNS infrastructure to ensure reliable and secure domain name resolution services.
• Implement and maintain ITM (Intelligent Traffic Management) solutions to optimize traffic flow and improve application performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline infrastructure management and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure strategies that support business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure services.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the infrastructure.
• Work Hours: Forty hours a week, with adjustments for night and weekend work during upgrades

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a proven track record of successfully managing complex network environments.
• Deep expertise in F5 technologies (LTM, GTM) and hands-on experience with CLI for network device management.
• Strong knowledge of DNS infrastructure and management.
• Experience with ITM solutions and their implementation in a large-scale environment.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation of infrastructure tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator, Cisco certifications) are a plus.
