Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Ground-Up High-End Homes & Historic Preservation
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager with expertise in both ground-up high-end residential construction and historic preservation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex, luxury home projects from inception to completion, as well as preserving and restoring historic properties. This role requires leadership, excellent communication, and deep technical knowledge to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all phases of high-end residential and historic preservation projects, from initial planning and budgeting through completion.
* Oversee subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship and materials.
* Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure all project specifications are met.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing consistent updates and addressing concerns with professionalism.
* Ensure compliance with all building codes, zoning laws, and preservation guidelines, particularly for historic structures.
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
* Troubleshoot issues on-site, making decisions to keep the project moving forward efficiently.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in high-end residential construction and historic preservation.
* Proven success managing luxury home projects.
* Strong knowledge of building codes, historic preservation standards, and construction best practices.
* Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to oversee teams and multiple projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
* Proficient in construction management software, including Procore, Buildertrend, and MS Project.
* Strong communication and client management skills.
