Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Security Consultant with expertise in Akamai and F5 technologies to join our client's team remotely. In this role, you will conduct a comprehensive assessment to evaluate the risk associated with using Akamai's edge security services. Additionally, you will perform a cost/risk/operational impact analysis to determine the feasibility of transitioning to alternative solutions or maintaining the current technologies and services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a thorough assessment of the ongoing risks associated with Akamai's edge security services.
Perform a detailed cost/risk/operational impact analysis comparing alternative solutions.
Evaluate ongoing operational costs, including staffing resources, and provide industry and peer comparisons.
Assess the potential for CDN performance loss post-migration, considering current and future infrastructure.
Lead a discovery phase to gather requirements, identify concerns and challenges, and understand the current architecture.
Conduct a market scan to gather insights from industry peers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Estimate and analyze the costs and risks associated with current and alternative solutions.
Requirements:

Proven experience and expertise in Akamai and F5 technologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed risk assessments and cost analyses.
Experience in evaluating CDN performance and infrastructure impacts.
Excellent communication skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
Ability to lead discovery phases and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Akamai and F5 technologies.
Prior experience in conducting security assessments and technology migrations.
