Summer 2025 - Financial Reporting Intern  in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Partner with the finance and accounting teams to assist in the monthly closing process, which includes journal entries and analysis of accounts.
2. Assist with the preparation of management financial statements and providing value added analysis. 
3. Actively develop and drive continuous improvement recommendations.
4. Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.
5. This is an in-person internship opportunity with the schedule to be determined by the manager. 

 

Education Requirements :

• Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Graduation date must be on or after May 2025. For Summer 2025 Internships, we will accept Spring/Summer 2025 graduates, only if you have been accepted into a Master’s/PhD program for Fall 2025.
• Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and it must be maintained up to and throughout the internship.
  • Please list GPA on resume. Resumes without GPA will not be considered.
  • If you are a freshman, you should list your high school GPA.
  • New graduate students should list their undergraduate GPA.
• Knowledge and understanding of Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools is preferred.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week for at least starting May/June 2025 thru July /Aug 2025.
• Must have reliable transportation for the duration of the internship.
• Must be able to analyze data and do trend analysis.
