Summer 2025 - Interior Design Intern - Appleton  in GAC Appleton

Unique Skills:

Full-time paid internship, on-site in Appleton, WI.

Currently enrolled in college working towards an Interior Design or Interior Architecture degree. 

Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet, and leather techniques. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide effective assistance with presentations (sample boards, renderings, drawings) of aircraft design concepts incorporating customers requirements to achieve marketing objectives and to meet all FAA requirements
2. Interface with interior design to develop effective presentations for aircraft refurbishments and/or completions.
3. Assist in coordinating all fabric material inquiries and reserves to check for availability for assigned aircraft
4. Organize, prepare, distribute and file materials and data to help establish and maintain effective communication and information systems within the design department.
5. Support completion design as required.

 

Additional Functions:
1. Maintain organization and cleanliness of sample library

Education and Experience Requirements:

 

1. Currently seeking a bachelor's degree and above in Interior Design or Interior Architecture in a full time capacity.
2. Graduating  after August 2025 .
3. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application.
4. Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship.
5. Be available to work in person 40 hours a week

 

Minimum Experience Requirements:

 

1. Knowledge of design principles, color science, textile, carpet and leather techniques.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
