Summer 2025 - Workforce Development Intern  in GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

This summer intern position will assist the Workforce Development organization. Must be able to work 40 hours in person for at least 12 weeks during the time period of May/June - August/September 2025.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Collaborate with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) on the development and implementation of programs and solutions.
2. Support Human Resource People Partners on the execution of initiatives to deliver on the annual HR headcount plan for identified customer groups.
3. Design and deliver key metrics and dashboards to identify project effectiveness.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
5. Assist with special projects as assigned.

 

Educational & Experience Requirements:

 

1. Must be available to work full time 40 hours a week in person for 12 weeks during the summer semester - May/June - August/September. 
2. Must be currently seeking a bachelor or masters level degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related degree.
3. Must graduate after August 2025 or must be planning to move on to the next level of education in the Fall 2025 semester.
4. Must have a cumulative 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher at time of application and must be listed on submitted resume.

• Freshman, please list high school GPA.
• New graduate students, please list undergraduate GPA. 

1. Strong customer service skills and organizational skills
2. Strong computer skills which includes being familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
3. Excellent interpersonal and written skills
4. Must have you own reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship.

 

Position will be posted until 11/3/2024. Interviews will be ongoing.
