Summer Golf Course Intern
Country Club in Englewood, Colorado is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.
Position Overview:
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Sprayer and spreader calibration.
• Chemical and fertilizer application.
• Water management, hand watering.
• Irrigation maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvements.
• Course set-up.
• Mowing of all playing surfaces.
• Aerifcation and cultural practices (verticutting, needle-tining, topdressing, etc.)
• Equipment operation on all machinery.
• Partake in projects and small crew management.
Requirements:
Candidate must be currently enrolled or recently graduated from an educational program related to the turfgrass/ golf-course industry.
No experience necessary, prior experience in golf course maintenance a plus.
Compensation:
$21 – $23 per hour.
