We’re not your average accounting firm. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a fast growing, tech forward tax and accounting company. We are looking for a curious, ambitious, detail oriented, and hard working accountant to help launch our team to the next evolution of growth. As a plus - we offer a hybrid remote/in-office setup (2 days in office, 3 days remote).

In this role, you will provide a variety of tax and accounting services to our clients, including preparing tax returns and monthly financial statements. Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are vital to providing excellent customer service to our clients. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of professional Tax/Accounting experience and has a current Enrolled Agent License.

Some job duties include:

• Conduct tax interviews with clients
• Request, collect, and compile all necessary documents
• Review corporate and personal income tax returns
• Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
• Process state and federal payroll taxes
• Reconcile bank and other financial statements
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
• Maintain constant communication with the IRS, State Agencies, and our clients
• Keep highly organized and updated client files
• Review and Preparation of Corporate, Partnership, Individual, Trust, Estate, Non-Profit and Benefit Plan Tax Returns.
• Preparing Tax Plans
• Preparing business valuations
• Collaborate with Other Tax Professionals, Managers and Partners in the firm for an optimized workflow.

Certified Public Accountant Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field
• Enrolled Agent (EA) license in good standing
• 2 years of experience EA in a corporate setting preferred
• Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
• Corporate and personal tax experience is a plus
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
• Familiarity with Quickbooks and financial statements
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong Oral and Written Skills Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
