Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Return Preparation: Assist in preparing individual, business, and corporate tax returns, gather and organize client financial data, input tax information into software, and conduct preliminary reviews.
• Tax Research and Analysis: Conduct research on tax laws and analyze tax implications to provide recommendations.
• Client Communication: Collect tax information from clients, answer queries, and assist in tax planning strategies.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws, prepare and file tax forms, and review tax assessments.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and respond to tax authorities during audits.
• Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain tax files and documentation.
• Team Collaboration: Work with tax managers and senior associates on engagements, support tax planning initiatives, and help in preparing tax strategies.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with tax laws and participate in training programs.
• Internal Processes: Follow firm policies and participate in internal reviews.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with tax software systems is a plus.
