Responsible for instructing students in an elementary school setting. Creates lesson plans, administers praise and constructive criticism, instructs students on subjects such as science, literature, Bible, and math as assigned, and creates a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program.
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree are required. 2-3 years of relevant experience are desired.
• A solid understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and grants
• Experience in creating and designing training content for adult learners, in organizing curriculum resources for a variety of programs, and experience with researching and analyzing curriculum and instructor resources.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion with a growth mindset.
• Must be able to perform all of the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner. Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills are essential.
• Self-motivated, detail- oriented, and highly organized, and have experience using online databases and other sources to locate biographical, financial, and philanthropic information.
• A high level of computer literacy required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and the ability to seek and synthesize information and communicate in a compelling and succinct form.

• Develop incentives to keep participants in class.
• Develop professional relationships with other agencies and programs.
• Utilize public library resources.
• Work with program coordinators to ensure initiatives are being met.
• Tutor students on an individual basis.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare and distribute required reports.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures.
• Giving and grading assignments, homework and tests
• Helping students prepare for standardized testing
• Overseeing students during recess, lunch, and other activities
• Talking to parents about their children’s progress
