Job Description

Agora is the global leader in real-time engagement, providing developers with simple, flexible, and powerful APIs to embed real-time conversational AI, voice, video, interactive live streaming, and chat into their applications and IoT devices. Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, Agora is trusted by over 1,700 leading organizations across the globe to power best-in-class real-time experiences from social media and live shopping to education and telehealth.

Agora is the world’s leading real-time video, voice, and live interactive streaming platform. Powering more than 80 billion minutes of human connection each month. Developers use Agora’s APIs and SDKs to embed VoiceAI, voice and video chat, live streaming, and interactive experiences into their apps.

Our mission is simple yet bold. To make real-time engagement ubiquitous, enabling anyone to connect with anyone, anywhere, anytime. We’re a team of innovators and problem-solvers who value curiosity, diversity, collaboration, and excellence.

Technical Project Manager, Sales

As a Technical Project Manager, Sales, you’ll bridge the gap between sales strategy and technical execution. You’ll collaborate with prospects, engineers, product, and leadership to scope, design, and deliver real-time engagement solutions across Conversational AI, Video, Voice, & Chat powered by Agora’s technology.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid world of revenue enablement, technical solutioning, and project leadership. The role would be equally comfortable discussing APIs and latency metrics as you are presenting ROI and deployment timelines to executives. It blends technical curiosity with the art of persuasion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical project lifecycles from pre-sales through implementation, ensuring alignment on scope, timeline, and milestones.
  • Translate customer requirements into system architecture, integrations, and deployment plans using Agora’s APIs, SDKs, WebRTC, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Serve as the technical lead / point of contact for key accounts, managing build workshops, POCs, and custom integration guidance.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer goals, technical needs, and product fit.
  • Work cross-functionally with members of our Solutions & Technology, Product, Marketing, and Senior Leadership Teams to drive revenue and refine positioning & messaging.
  • Use CRM and data tools to track engagement, analyze conversion metrics, and refine outreach strategies.
  • Provide market feedback to leadership on trends, competitor movements, and customer insights. Represent Agora at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings to build brand visibility and network with decision-makers.
  • Attend in-person events, networking, qualifying, and sourcing new client relationships.

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies:

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships. Ideally with enterprise or SMB customers.
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys using data to inform sales decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting and storytelling.
  • Curiosity about technology (bonus if familiar with APIs, SDKs, VoiceAI, WebRTC, or cloud solutions).
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments where initiative matters.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus. Our customers and teams span the globe.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Analytics, or related field.

Agora.io values its employees and provides a complete compensation package that includes benefits, equity, and competitive base salaries.
