Job Description

Salary: $35,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• Over 3 years of testing experience
• Proficient understanding of Canadian Banking operations
• Strong hands-on experience in programming algorithms using Java
• More than 3 years of experience with standard industry test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Over 3 years of experience with recognized functional automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium)
• Familiar with industry-standard API automation testing tools (e.g., REST-Assured, ParaSoft SOATest)
• Knowledgeable about the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to engage with Client Stakeholders, Senior Management, and technology partners
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive mindset with the ability to build consensus and tackle interpersonal challenges
• Capability to foster robust relationships with clients and team members
• Proficient in articulating information and ideas in a clear, comprehensive, concise, and organized manner

Responsibilities:

• Conduct requirements analysis and quality risk analysis
• Assist in the development of Test Strategies and Test Plans
• Create and maintain test cases, automated scripts, and traceability matrices
• Aid in the identification and preparation of test data
• Ensure adherence to quality processes
• Execute system and integration test scripts
• Identify, log, and retest defects
• Contribute to the Lessons Learned Sessions
• Engage in knowledge transition activities
• Report progress of testing activities to the team/test lead or directly to the client
• Generate “client” and “internal” status reports
• Maintain a thorough understanding of software testing best practices, methodologies, and terminologies
• Mentor and coach fellow team members
