Title Clerk – Walterboro Ford (Walterboro, SC)

Walterboro Ford , a premier dealership in South Carolina’s Lowcountry , is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Title Clerk to join our team! If you have a strong understanding of automotive title processing, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Process all vehicle titles and related paperwork in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Submit title work to the DMV in a timely manner
• Verify accuracy of all documents before submission
• Work closely with sales and finance departments to ensure a smooth transaction process
• Resolve title issues, including lien releases and missing paperwork
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of all title-related documents
• Assist customers and lenders with title-related inquiries
• Stay updated on state title regulations and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of SC DMV title and registration processes
• Proficiency in Dealer Track , DDI, And Beacon Title is a plus
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work well with other departments
• High school diploma or equivalent required
