Traveling Concrete Foreman - Commercial Construction - Base Salary to 34.00/hour - Huntingburg, IN

• Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Traveling Concrete Foreman to join their industrial and commercial concrete construction team. The Traveling Concrete Foreman role requires a skilled professional who can lead and manage crews on-site, overseeing 5-8 team members and ensuring precision in surveying, layout, and execution. This is a highly active role, balancing direct task involvement with effective delegation. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage field crews on industrial and commercial concrete projects.
• Execute detailed plan and spec reading, project layout, and on-site surveying with robotic total stations.
• Operate various heavy equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and bulldozers.
• Coordinate between self-performing tasks and delegating as appropriate to ensure project efficiency.
• This role involves regular travel, typically returning home on weekends. Extended stays may occur based on project needs, with the flexibility of additional days off after two-week periods on-site.

Qualifications:

• Strong plan and spec reading skills.
• Experienced in surveying and layout work, including using robotic total stations.
• Proficiency with heavy equipment operation (e.g., skid loaders, excavators, bulldozers).
• Effective leadership and delegation abilities.
• Candidates must be local to the Huntingburg, IN area for full consideration for this position

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 28.00 - 34.00/hour range
• Per Diem and project profit sharing
