We’re growing our UX writing team and looking for an experienced UX writer/content designer to join us. Your primary responsibility will be working on our external systems experiences. This is not a technical writing job, but a role that takes complex concepts and makes them simple for a business end-user and tech admin users to understand. For this role, you will need a robust UX writing portfolio to demonstrate bar-raising content strategy skills.

If you like solving complex challenges through words and delivering global solutions, this position is for you. We’re looking for a UX Writer who is an advocate for the customer—distilling complex problems into simple, savvy communications. You work tirelessly to understand how customers think and speak to identify language that is both useful and natural. You collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, data scientists, and developers to craft solutions that are strategically sound.

Key job responsibilities
• Generate and evaluate content for integrating Amazon Business technology with external business experiences
• Anticipate customer needs and write innovative and simplified solutions to issues
• Influence product strategy, driving mindful discussions with product managers, UX designers, engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders
• Set standards and drive adherence to UX writing best practices
• Have a good track record for helping teams adopt UX writing guidelines and developing relevant metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Have an available online portfolio
- 3+ years of experience as a UX writer, content designer, or related field
