**Responsibilities** **Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:** + Conduct comprehensive health assessments. + Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. + Order and interpret diagnostic tests. **Treatment Planning and Management:** + Develop and implement patient care plans. + Prescribe medications and therapies. + Provide health promotion and disease prevention education. **Collaboration and Consultation:** + Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. + Consult with physicians and specialists as needed. + Coordinate patient care across various settings. **Qualifications** + Minimum of 1-year post-training experience in an NP role + Experience in Vascular, Cardiology, or Cardiac Surgery is highly desirable + A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California + Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare) **Overview** Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group with more than 500 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to its growing Vascular Surgery Department in Carmichael, CA. This outpatient-focused position will see both venous and arterial patients and be responsible for H&P's, pre/post-surgical assessments, acute medical visits, patient education and follow-up, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues. Accredited vascular lab on site. This opportunity is full-time with no call requirement. This opportunity offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package, including bonus potential and a very desirable retirement plan.
