Duration: 15 weeks
Pay Rate: $20/hr.
Reporting to the Chief Content Officer, the Video Journalism Intern will support video production for Flatland, the newsroom at Kansas City PBS. This position is perfect for those who will thrive in the fast paced world of broadcast journalism collaborating with journalists, social media staff and producers to conceptualize pieces, shoot broll, write scripts, edit video, and more. Ideal candidates will be creative, have a flexible schedule and a good eye for telling engaging stories with a clear goal in mind. Attention to detail and the ability to set and stick to deadlines is optimal for this role.
