Rugiet Health is an Austin, TX-based growth-stage company aimed at disrupting the US Healthcare market by democratizing access to best-in-class compounded medications delivered through a bespoke/luxury online marketplace. Rugiet is operated by a small but passionate management team with deep industry experience in Clinical, Marketing, and Technology verticals.

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer who excels in designing creative and easy-to-use Web Sites. The ideal candidate is skilled in using popular design tools such as Figma, works quickly, and is highly responsive to project needs. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Experience in the telemedical health industry is a bonus. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Wireframe Design:  Create high-fidelity and low-fidelity wireframes that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows. Use tools like Figma to produce designs that are visually appealing and user-friendly. 
• User-Centered Design:  Conduct user research and apply insights to inform design decisions, ensuring that the final product meets user needs and provides a seamless experience. 
• Collaboration:  Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand project goals, and translate them into effective UI/UX designs. 
• Innovation and Creativity:  Create easy-to-navigate websites that are intuitive, creative, innovative and modern.

Day-to-Day Duties: 

• Rapid Prototyping:  Quickly produce wireframes and prototypes to explore design solutions and iterate based on feedback. 
• Design Execution:  Transform wireframes into visually compelling, high-fidelity mockups that align with the project’s vision and objectives. 
• Feedback Integration:  Regularly gather and incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine designs and ensure they meet project requirements. 

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years experience with Designing Web Sites and a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in using the Adobe Suite and Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• A strong creative vision with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative design solutions. 
• Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Strong attention to detail.
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.

Nice to Have: 

• Familiarity with the telemedical health industry is a bonus, helping to create user experiences that resonate with healthcare professionals and patients. 
• Experience with e-commerce or DTC web design.
• Ability to conduct user research, ability testing, and apply findings to improve design outcomes. 
• Experience in working with or creating design systems to maintain consistency across products.
