Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Wood Pallet Repair Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and pallet repair, along with proficiency in using tools such as the sawzall and nail gun . This is a temp-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

As a Wood Pallet Repair Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and refurbishing wooden pallets to ensure they meet industry standards and are ready for use in shipping and logistics. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and be expected to follow safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and assess damaged pallets to determine the scope of repairs needed
• Use a sawzall to cut and reshape damaged wood components
• Operate a nail gun to reassemble pallet parts and secure them into place
• Replace or repair damaged boards, stringers, and other pallet components
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Ensure all repaired pallets meet company quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience (pallet repair experience preferred)
• Proficiency with hand tools, including sawzall and nail gun
• Ability to read and follow repair instructions and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
